Welcome to Macsmeats, a family owned and operated business for over 26 years based in Te Awamutu. Covering the greater Waikato region and providing a professional, honest and reliable service is what we are all about. WHO WE ARE
Richard
RICHARD

A qualified butcher with over 28 years experience, having completed his apprenticeship in the shop when it also did retail window sales meant he developed a keen eye for detail and quality. Giving a friendly and quality service is foremost in his work ethic. Richard is married to Donna, who also works at the shop.

Donna
DONNA

The backbone of the family run butchery, Donna joined Richard at the shop in 1998 making herself irreplaceable very quickly. You'll find Donna doing everything from making sausages, salami, patties, swissroll to packaging everything we cut from beef to venison. She always makes time to chat with the customers.

Kieran
KIERAN

Kieran has always enjoyed going out hunting and fishing ever since he was young which helped carve his career path. He has been a butcher for over 20 years after he completed his apprenticeship. He worked in the retail butchery shop for 4 years before moving into the homekill industry where he found his true passion and talent for making small goods. Kieran has spent the majority of his time in the Waikato and has learnt a wide range of skills.
